Not everyone is quick to jump on "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus -- as a matter of fact, one former teen star in particular is jumping to her defense.

In an interview with Us Magazine, 38-year old Tiffany shared her thoughts on Miley's "risque" outfits and more "adult" music:

"Miley Cyrus is on a great track ... I know that there are a lot of people that say well when you are so young you shouldn't be sexy.

"I think that in today's world you kind of have to be [sexy]-- to be competitive in the market, I think that she is doing  it appropriately.  And it's always a fine line there.

"But I'm a huge fan of hers. I think she's gonna have a long career. Her parents are guiding her right, and it really matters what base you have around you.  Very much so."

Some critics of Miley's have proclaimed that she may be growing up too fast with her new image, and some of her album sales for "Can't Be Tamed" have paled in comparison to other past work.

Do you agree with Tiffany about Miley Cyrus, or is she changing so much that it is alienating her audience? To view recent photos of Miley, follow the link here.
