Cyrus announced on Friday that "Adore You" would be the third single from her album "Bangerz." It follows the songs "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball." During the Jingleball concert, she performed the ballad live for the first time ever.
In honor of the Christmas theme at Jingleball, Cyrus hit the stage in a revealing red leotard with white Santa Claus-like cuffs. Compared to the other songs she sang, her performance of "Adore You" was the tame moment of the show. She stood in the middle of the stage and belted out her heartfelt song.
Despite her wonderful performance of "Adore You," the other songs Cyrus performed seem to have the public talking, especially the Pharrell-produced track "#GETITRIGHT." According to the Huffington Post, she twerked on a drunk Santa Claus when singing that slinky song from "Bangerz." She also did her old hit "Party in the USA" and covered Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" for the show.
Cyrus' "Bangerz" album was released in October and it peaked at no. 1 on Billboard's albums chart.
