The “Wrecking Ball” singer finally came clean on what she really thinks about her breakup from former fiancé, “The Hunger Games” actor Liam Hemsworth.
Earlier this week, Cyrus was in the news when she released her "Bangerz" album. Today, in a candid interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Miley Cyrus discussed how her life is headed in a new direct, a happy and very alone direction, after the end of her engagement to Hemsworth.
She comments to Ellen: "I want to be really clear and determined with everything I'm doing in my life right now, and I have been. I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's not even a dig.
She adds: “That's just me, because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I've never been able to just be alone, and I'm obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts."
As a young woman, Miley has faced a great deal of criticism from fans and skeptics alike. The entertainment business has both embraced her as an artist and ridiculed her performances.
It seems that at the end of the day, the “We Can’t Stop” singer finally feels comfortable in her own skin.
Just last weekend, she was able to poke fun at herself as the host of SNL! What will she do next?
What do you think? Is Miley Cyrus really moving on from her breakup with Liam Hemsworth? Is she really “obsessed” with being alone?
