Miley Cyrus: No twerking in a hospital gown

Miley Cyrus is nearing the end of the US leg of her Bangerz tour, but the singer has landed in the hospital. Miley reportedly had a severe reaction to some antibiotics which shook the shake out of her twerk, a source told E! News. Miley definitely gives her all on tour, since this isn’t the first tour the singer has fallen ill on.

During the Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds tour in New Orleans in 2008, Cyrus had to flee the stage for awhile after she announced to the crowd that she wasn’t feeling well. Cyrus did return to the stage soon after to finish the concert. In October of 2009, during her Gypsy Heart Tour, Cyrus had to cancel a show due to illness. This time it seems to be taking a little longer for Cyrus to bounce back.

It is unknown whether the ‘Wrecking Ball‘ singer will be well enough to perform in her hometown of Nashville on Friday night, as she is still under orders for medical rest. Cyrus has recently cancelled shows in Charlotte, NC, Kansas City, and announced via Twitter earlier this morning that she would not make it to her show in St. Louis. Miley tweeted:
“The hospital is sayin i wont b released today therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control.”

Stars like Cyrus are only human, but the hard part is that it’s incredibly difficult to reschedule shows due to the amount of events being held at these venues. Miley has been under fire for canceling shows at the “last minute,” which is why she took to Twitter to get the word out since it would take hours more for her camp to officially announce the show cancellation. None of the cancelled shows have been rescheduled yet, but reps for each venue are interested in working with LiveNation to reschedule, according to the Kansas City Star.
Get well soon Miley!
