After her scandalous dance moves at the MTV VMA Awards recently, Miley Cyrus has continued to be in the news. One thing she apparently won't be on is the Vogue cover in December 2013. According to MSN.com on Sept. 9, the editor of Vogue, Anna Wintour, is rumored to have decided to dump the planned Miley Cyrus cover shots because of her very risqué performance at the MTV VMA awards.
Many mothers and grandmothers are hoping that this incident will serve as an example to young girls about degrading themselves. A meme is circulating on Facebook with a message to a daughter about this.
In discussing Miley Cyrus with two teenagers working in a Bristol, Va., grocery store, it was interesting to see how disgusted they were with her behavior. One felt strongly that someone would surely be under the influence of something to act in such a horrendous manner.
Vogue magazine, forever known as the epitome of class and sophistication, reportedly does not want to risk their being linked to such an odious performance and its subsequent fallout.
