In case you missed the August 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Miley Cyrus' performance of her song, 'Party in the USA,' involved a pole. A pole, that at one point, Miley Cyrus crouched down real low around, in front of the entire viewing audience. Rumors began flying Cyrus became too comfortable with the pole, and provided too much of a show for young fans and viewers. Headlines of the routine hit news sources, videos and photos began flooding the internet of Cyrus and her alleged pole dance during the performance on the Teen Choice Awards.
Miley Cyrus, best known as the leading star of Hannah Montana, and the daughter of country music entertainer, Billy Ray Cyrus, has a large impact as a role model. The Disney star has definitely built an empire. From movies and music, to sitcoms and products, Miley Cyrus, at the sweet age of 16, has taken the tween and teen world by storm. Hannah Montana products are in retail stores all across the U.S.
The latest product that may be hitting the market soon, is being linked back to Miley Cyrus and her infamous pole performance. 'Pole Dance' is a new brunette doll that might hit stores just in time for Christmas. The animated doll is said to come with a pole, and yes, just like a stripper or exotic dancer; dances. Pictured on the front of the product, a young female in a shiny dress, has pole in hand, ready to dance. The simple graphics on the box include the words "Style," "Flash," "Up and Down," "Go Round and Round," and "Music."
The photo of the 'Pole Dance' doll first surfaced on gadget blog Gizmodo.com. The doll appeared on sites shortly after Miley Cyrus' performance on the Teen Choice Awards. Once again, internet rumors began surfacing the doll was inspired by Miley Cyrus, and parents are outraged regarding the product. Whether or not the 'Pole Dance' doll is fashioned after Miley Cyrus, many parents are concerned Cyrus is paving the wrong roads for her young, impressionable followers after the controversial pole incident on the Teen Choice Awards.
When the negative outpour began instantly with Cyrus' pole routine, Billy Ray Cyrus shot back by saying his 16 year old daughter is simply expressing her adulthood and that he supports and encourages her artistic expression. If the 'Pole Dance' doll is an authentic product heading toward retail chains, only time will tell. Until then, the controversy of Cyrus dancing with a pole, and a 'Pole Dance' doll, continues.

Dee, your comment is judgement on a story where the writer DID NOT give an opinion. You said its rumored, and duh, that IS what this story says... I see no personal opinion or bashing of Miley directly from the writer, just information written that IS being talked about on different sites.
