Miley Cyrus is certainly protective of her relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, proof of which was her Twitter rant as reported by E! News yesterday. It seems it all started with some tweets from gossip guy Perez Hilton, who posted messages suggesting Miley Cyrus was “up to no good” with “Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick Thursday night. Needless to say, Miley went postal over the rumored infidelity, taking to Twitter with a series of biting posts for Perez that put him in his place. Cyrus insisted she was not, nor ever has been, anywhere near Ed Westwick.
The online war of words was kicked off when Perez Hilton wrote, “Did the Mileybird just up and decide it was time to bounce on fiancé Liam Hemsworth??”, according to the Mirror.
“@perezhilton hope you find love one day but can you not f--k with mine”, Miley Cyrus wrote. “I've never been with Ed W in my life. I was at the studio last night….working on my record and never left with anyone other than my assistant. What happened to your big enlightenment", she asked.
“What happened to your promise to spread love not lies”, the Disney star continued, adding, “And to be a decent human being with values and morals??? Dude u ask for people to respect you and your relationships I demand the same thing”.
“You're the first one to write about my engagement and my wedding and how happy u r for me and the first to try to tear my life. Respect, love & compassion are mandatory”, Cyrus wrote.
Miley finished by writing, “@perezhilton hope this message finds you happy and healthy”, and “@perezhilton feel free to ask me whatever u want but I can't tolerate lies. Thanks for understand. Blessings x”.
Miley must have reconsidered her rant, because just hours after the posts, she deleted them, but not before Perez saw them. Hilton, in New Orleans for Mardi Gra, responded simply by tweeting out a screen grab of Cyrus’ posts.
