Bye-bye Disney. According to Hitfix on Jan. 31, Miley Cyrus has officially left her Disney days behind; saying goodbye to “Hanna Montana” for good by signing with RCA Records. According to Billboard, Cyrus will have a new album, her fourth, out later this year.
Leaving Disney and moving to RCA will be a good thing for Cyrus who will reunite with Dr. Luke, the producer behind her 2009 number one hit, “Party in the USA.” Miley’s last album, 2010’s “Can’t Be Tamed” was produced by Disney Hollywood Records imprint. She told Billboard that she will also be collaborating with Pharrell Williams, production duo Da Internz, and Hit-Boy.
“I wanna make a sick record,” she confesses. Miley is so excited about her new album that she has been really buckling down and working really hard to write new material. She wants everything to be perfect. Cyrus mentions the new album will have a lot of her country roots mixed with hip-hop beats.
