Pop star Miley Cyrus has shut down reports her relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth is on the rocks after she was snapped without her engagement ring, insisting her sparkler is at the jewelers, getting fixed.
Cyrus fueled split rumors earlier this month when she stepped out without her flashy Neil Lane diamond, but she has repeatedly denied claims she and her fiance are calling off their wedding plans, despite reports suggesting the couple has fallen out.
The singer took to Twitter late Thursday night to clear up the misunderstanding in an exchange with her back-up singer Lindsey J. Lee. After Lee wrote, "had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed... one of the little diamonds fell out... I feel naked without it :( so sad," Cyrus took the occasion to clear up some rumors about her own missing bling.
Miley said, "ugh that's the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off."
While the former Disney star is currently in the U.S., Hemsworth has been spending time abroad. He first went home to Australia and, on Friday, was in Manila, Philippines, where he was making promotional appearances as the face of the Bench clothing line, according to the brand's Instagram account.
