Miley Cyrus has earned a reputation as a party animal. Not surprisingly, when she was recently forced to postpone numerous tour stops, many fans began to wonder if it was related to drug use. However, a Wednesday story by People reveals that Miley recently denied suffering a drug overdose.

The story comes as Miley Cyrus prepares to resume the European leg of her “Bangerz” tour. The controversial starlet confirms that her health issues were related to complications from antibiotics that she was given for a sinus infection. During her recovery, Miley was forced to spend more than two weeks in bed rest, and not surprisingly, the transition from a jetsetting lifestyle to a bedridden one did not suit Miley well.

During the interview the starlet reveals that it was two of the worst weeks she has ever endured. Regardless, Miley Cyrus said that she was back to full health, and she said she would be more mindful of her health in the future. In particular she has taken up yoga, and she is taking a daily regimen of vitamins.

While most fans would imagine that Miley lives a rather hard lifestyle, a Wednesday story by CNN observes that Miley views herself as a “poster child for good health”. Given her history of partying and drug use, it seems that Miley is not fully aware of her current public image.

Whether you enjoy Miley Cyrus’ music or think she is talentless, it is good to see that she has fully recovered. When the American leg of her tour was postponed, many fans expressed dismay. Unfortunately, a new date for the American portion of the tour has not been announced, but it will be news that is sure to delight Miley’s millions of fans.

Do you believe that Miley Cyrus is the “poster child” of good health or do you think her documented drug use makes this statement laughable?
