Miley Cyrus can't stop talking about her "Can't Be Tamed" music video -- even though it's now been released for close to a week. In an interview with MTV News, the singer talked a little bit more about her creative vision.

"I made a big point to everyone that I didn't want anyone else to watch a music video and show me and say, 'This is what I think we should do. I don't think it looks like any other music video. I think if we would have looked at another music video or listened to another song or looked at a different artist, it could have easily [been influenced]."

The "Hannah Montana" star has also now revealed the cover art for her new album, which is scheduled to be released on June 22. The single is already starting to find some play on the radio, and could begin rising up the charts in a matter of weeks.

I love her new song. i think she is really growing up and i hate it when people say negative comments about her. she is my favorite singer.

I think this album is going to bomb. 99.9% of her fans are under the age of 12 and I'm pretty sure their parents aren't going to buy an album like this for them. Not to mention she has no talent, btw can you say MAJOR PHOTOSHOP?

honestly, i hate how everyone says crap about her just because shes a disney channel star. the covers pretty cooool, and the songs amazing, so shut up. (:

Miley's new video rocks and so does the song! i can't wait for the album and all you haters shut the freak up! she's not a slut!

I have seen Miley twice live and have grown up adoring her and I am growing up with her and I seem to be growing edgier as well and it is perfect to have someone like her to relate too. She is someone who I am very happy to have grown up watching and experiencing my teenage years with and this song is AMAZING! as is the video

I feel like she is being tamed and changed by the industry into something she isn't. She is becoming similar to Britney Spears and that is a dark path. I can understand that she wants people to see her differently now that her Hannah Montana days are over but I think she could do that without having to become . I like the song and I like her and I hope she can be successful without losing herself.

I love the video and the new song... guys she's not going to be a little disney star forever... everyone has to grow up! Wouldn't you want to do something edgier after years of being on a children's show?! I know I would. But seriously... what the heck is with her facial expression on this cover??? It's not sexy if that is what she was aiming for. She coulda done better there.

idk, maybe her handlers are trying to push her to be more like brit. I'd say she more fits the joan jet mold, as an independant minded, self willed rocker chick whose sexy, but not a sex pot like brit was. Miles needs to follow her own instincts and not those @HR. MILEY ROX!

i think it's fine. she can do whatever she want. she'll be 18 in november. and fyi miley is nothing like brittany. she is a completly different person, and i think she is just trying to show ppl that she isn't a little girl anymore. and the truth, she isn't.

I didn't expect her to be a little disney star forever, but i didn't expect her to start dressing like a slut either. for real... this is how hookers in the red light district dress. oh miley.

I hate how people say she's dressing like a slut. She's wearing a leotard. Seven year olds on dance classes and ballerinas wear those. Are they sluts too? Absolutely not! I think people are looking too deeply into this. She's showing how she doesn't want to be caged.
