A Miley Cyrus dancer is speaking out about her experience on the VMAs. Evidently, Hollis Jane -- who called herself a "little person" -- felt terrible after her performance with Miley at the MTV VMA's and she's telling the world just how bad her experience was. On Oct. 12, the New York Daily News reported that Hollis Jane felt "less than human" and she doesn't like how people laughed at her and made fun of her during and after the show.
"I was being stared and laughed at for all of the wrong reasons. I was being looked at as a prop…as something less than human. For the first time I felt truly ashamed of being a little person. We were being used simply because we were little," said Hollis Jane -- she was one of the dancers dressed in the teddy bear costumes.
Miley Cyrus' dancer may have felt differently if the performance received tons of praise but it does seem like Miley used the "little people" to her advantage and that the point was to have people laugh in a negative way. Why else would a performer have "little people" dressed up like teddy bears and dancing around aimlessly on stage like this? Hollis Jane says that she felt completely
"I had never been in a performance where I was purely meant to be gawked or laughed at. I will never forget that performance because it is what forced me to draw my personal line in the sand," Hollis Jane continued.
Does Miley Cyrus' dancer have a point? Do you think she's out for more attention or do you feel bad for her?
