Miley Cyrus competes against Kelly Osbourne for animal welfare donations

Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne are pals, but when it comes to helping the animals, the two starlets are going head-to-head in a friendly competition that includes the fans. The entertainers are involved in The Onyx & Breezy Foundation along with Eric Stonestreet, Peter Facinelli, and Billy Ray Cyrus to ask fans to donate funds for animal welfare. The entertainers have  come together to raise $25,000 or more in two weeks with the challenge starting on Wednesday and continuing until February 18.

The opportunity to help the animals had the fans delighted to take part in such a worthy cause. Miley Cyrus let all her fans know they need to contribute on her Twitter account. While Cyrus is doing her part, her friend Kelly Osbourne is asking fans as well and it will be interesting to see who makes the most money in 10 days.

“Can you help spread the word about onyxandbreezy.org I want everyone to vote team Miley to win a signed poster and save the animals,” wrote Miley Cyrus in a message to PETA online.

The Onyx & Breezy Foundation was formed in 2004 by Mark and Wanda Shefts to honor the memory of their two Labrador retrievers. According to the Foundation’s website, the Shefts' passion for animals led them to create a non-profit foundation, which assists animals in a variety of ways.

The opportunity to do good for charities around the world is why so many fans love Miley Cyrus. Keeping the focus of helping animals and humans, like the nonprofit connection she has with Amnesty International for her new single, she doesn’t falter in doing her best.
