The Miley Cyrus vs. Sinead O'Connor feud continues. After Sinead's open letter warning Miley about the pitfalls of the music business, Miley shot back with a jab about Sinead's state of mental health. And O'Connor let her have it back on Twitter Thursday, admonishing Cyrus for bringing Amanda Bynes and her mental problems into the fray, according to Radar Online on Oct. 4.
Miley tweeted to Sinead that she doesn't have time to write you an open letter back to her, because she's busy hosting and performing on SNL this week. She then sarcastically asked if she wanted to meet up some time in the future.
"I have no interest whatsoever in meeting you. You had plenty of time yesterday to abuse Amanda Bynes...an entirely innocent party...and myself...who also did nothing to deserve your abuse...along with every other sufferer of mental health problems and every person who suffered abuse at the hands of priests", tweeted O'Connor.
Sinead fired the first shot if you will, by writing an open letter to the young pop star about the pitfalls of the music biz. And more so to call her out about her nakedness, and what impact that may have on young girls.
Sinead didn't take too kindly to the Amanda Bynes shot, going so far as to threaten Miley with a lawsuit if she didn't delete her re-tweets.
Grammy-winning Sinead O'Connor, 46, was attempting to give 20-year-old Miley some advice, but that seems to have backfired badly.
Surely all eyes will be on SNL this weekend. Was that the plan?
