Miley Cyrus' hair has been described as blue, violet, and grey according to the social networks, but Miley took to her official Twitter page to clear things up. Miley Cyrus has denied dying her hair, and has insisted that the color is nothing more than platinum blonde.
Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter explained what happened, claiming that she just overdid a brightening treatment, which was only meant to add an unnoticeable blue tint to blonde hair meant to brighten the color.
Miley Cyrus stated on Twitter to her fans: 'My hurrr ain't blue. That s**ts PLATINUM.'
'Just went heavy on that shimmer lights haha.'

E! reveals that Shimmer Lights is a Clairol shampoo and conditioner treatment that corrects the yellow tone that blonde hair can sometimes gain, but if you leave the treatment on too long it can leave a blue tint.
Besides sporting a sassy new hair color, Miley Cyrus was also spotted wearing her very large, and expensive engagement ring from her fiance Liam Hemsworth, despite last week's big rumors that Hemsworth had cheated on Miley Cyrus with "Mad Men" star January Jones.
