Miley Cyrus closes out year with fighting words and a frisky video

Just when you thought Miley Cyrus couldn't get anymore controversial, think again. The singer has decided to bid 2013 farewell by releasing a video that gives 'Wrecking Ball' a run for it's money and words to celebrities that may start another social media war.

First to the video, which is to say the least boring and a tad repetitive. Scratch that, make it a lot repetitive. Viewers are treated to a four minute and thirty second romp in the sheets, featuring Miley and her hands...oh and some water. Rolling around half naked and presumably wet (by the looks of her hair) she goes from biting the sheets to sucking her own fingers and caressing her body and back; she even takes it down south for a few seconds. All while trying to look appealing and sweetly into the camera. At some point she decides to take a bath (wearing more clothing than in the bed) and once again throws herself around in the oddly colored bathwater. It's not quite up to riding giant industrial equipment sans your clothes but hey, how many ways can you be naughty and naked before it gets old?.

On to the more memorable words that she had for Ariana Grande and Joe Jonas. Apparently Ms. Grande needs a career boost, and Miley (as if she should be saying anything) has a piece of advice to give. "This is terrible. I was backstage with Ariana Grande. I’m like, 'Walk out with me right now and get this picture, and this will be the best thing that happens to you, because just you associating with me makes you a little less sweet'" she told the New York Times. "She’s trying. I see her wearing the shorter things. She comes in, and she goes, 'This made me feel like you.' And I’m like, 'That was like my sixth grade prom dress.' She’s, I think, still on Nickelodeon. She has people that she has to kind of respect." Very good Miley (Ariana is on the hit show Sam and Kat FYI).

Next she laid into Joe Jonas and that whole 'smoking' story he told New York Magazine. She said "If you want to smoke weed, you’re going to smoke weed. There’s nothing that two little girls are going to get you to do that you don't want to do. I thought maybe he was saying that like it was going to make him look badass. We were so young that it's actually like, 'How did you get peer pressured by me?'" Just for the record, they are only 3 years apart.

No telling what 2014 will bring or if Ariana and Joe will repsond or not; but you can be sure when the pop stars do take to the internet, the world will be waiting and watching fervently. We love to hate, don't we?
