Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Colbie Caillat, Kellie Pickler and more on A Very Special Christmas 7

The torch has been passed to a new generation of superstar talent for A Very Special Christmas Volume 7, the latest edition of the acclaimed album series which benefits Special Olympics.

Available November 24, 2009, A Very Special Christmas 7 will feature country artists the Carter Twins, Miley Cyrus, Gloriana, Kellie Pickler, and Carrie Underwood to benefit the Special Olympics. They join pop singers Colbie Caillat and Kristinia DeBarge, High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, hip hop's Sean Kingston and others on the album of new and traditional Christmas songs.

From its start in 1987, the benefit recording series has enabled the Special Olympics organization to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities in more than 180 countries. Now, these new stars are joining artists such as U2, Bon Jovi, and Vanessa Williams (featured on the previous six collections of Christmas music) in bringing joy and hope through music to Special Olympics athletes around the world.
