The 2013 VMAs has a lot of people and celebrities chiming in with their opinions on the performances of some of the celebrities on the bill, Miley Cyrus in particular, who was called out as a "pitchy stripper" by Kelly Clarkson via Twitter according to Wednesday, August 26 reports from Radar Online.
The former "American Idol" winner blasted Miley Cyrus, and what is thought to be Lady Gaga for their performances at the VMAs tweeting:
“Just saw a couple of performances from the VMAs last night,” Kelly tweeted Monday morning. “2 words…. #pitchystrippers.”
The pitchy stripper remark did not sit well with the former "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus' best pal Cheyne Thomas who instantly responded to Kelly Clarkson's tweet calling the Clarkson
‘fat’ and ‘bitter.’
“Kelly Clarkson called Miley a pitchy stripper. Do you think she’s mad because her past few singles flopped and wasn’t asked to perform?” Cheyne wrote, “and she’s fat and 30..”
Not content to leave it there, he continued, “the reasons Kelly Clarkson is bitter could really go on for day[sic]..”
Well, Kelly Clarkson was not the only one stunned and shocked by Miley Cyrus' raunchy performance, thousands of fans posted their views about how wrong Miley's performance was and just how appalled they were to have to witness the youth of today's entertainment buisness to have to sink to an all new low and mark it as entertainment.
Here are a few examples of tweets posted following Miley Cyrus twerk-athon.
Judd Apatow tweeted a picture of a more innocent Miley on the front of her DVD So Undercover and captioned it, “I will always have this version of Miley. Let’s live in the past and heal.”
And E! Online sent out a tweet saying, “Raise your hand if you feel personally victimized by Miley Cyrus’ #VMAs performance.”
Country star Josh Gracin tweeted, “Thanks Miley Cyrus. Now I have to explain to my 11 yr old daughter why she no longer can follow your career.”
And "DWTS" alum Melissa Rycroft wrote, ”I think I’m too old to appreciate the (ahem) new Miley Cyrus….feeling slightly violated….#VMA.”
The tweets added to the the shocked looks of the people who were actually forced to watch Miley Cyrus performance in the flesh tell the truth, Will Smith and his entire family look completely taken back by what they were witnessing.
What its wondered is what Miley Cyrus' dad and mom Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish thought about watching their little girl do unspeakable things on live TV in front of millions of viewer.
If MTV is now facing the backlash of Lady Gaga's thonged bottom and Miley Cyrus's adult entertainment performance, it is wondered how many people will actually tune in next year to see who, and what will out shock the 2013 VMA performance of Miley Cyrus, or are people getting disgusted with the lack of discretion that some of today's entertainers resort to to gain attention.
