Miley Cyrus' bro releases free album

Miley Cyrus on Sunday took to Twitter to let her fans know that brother Trace Cyrus has a new album free to all.

Trace Cyrus, 22, released the album under the name Ashland High. The album is available for download in .ZIP form at AshlandHigh.com.

A collection of videos is also available for free viewing at Trace's YouTube channel. (See the video for the debut song, "Jealous Lover," on the left side of this page.)

Sunday night, Trace said the album had already been downloaded 10,000 times.

Trace describes his music as electro/pop. It's an accurate description, with the 11 songs on the album featuring clean-sounding electronic music with catchy melodies and vocals.

Titles on the album are:

  • Overload
  • Heartbeats
  • Sippin’ on Sunshine
  • Highs and Lows
  • XTC
  • Clouds
  • One Night
  • We Never Sleep
  • Shadows

Trace has songs under his belt that were recorded by others.

His dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, recorded “Country Music Has the Blues."

He also appeared on Miley’s recording of "Hovering.”

Trace is a former member of the band Metro Station, which had a Top 10 single, “Shake It.”
