Miley Cyrus - Bret Michaels duet on again now that infidelity issue resolved - National celebrity infidelity

Miley Cyrus’s long-awaited duet with Bret Michaels, which was put on hold due to infidelity rumors, now has an official release date in June, according to ContactMusic.com

But there’s a catch: Miley’s duet with Bret will only be released in Australia. It will not be released in the United States.

Miley and Bret teamed up in a collaboration last year studio last year to record a new version of the Poison classic, Every Rose Has Its Thorn.

Despite denials from both Tish and Bret that they were ever romantically involved, the rumors persisted, fueled by the fact that, Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce.

In view of the infidelity rumors, the release of Bret and Miley’s duet was put on hold.

Not That The Divorce is Off, the Duet is On

Now that Billy Ray Cyrus has reconciled with Tish, and called off the divorce, Miley and Bret’s duet has been rescheduled for release.

According to Ace Show Biz, here’s what Bret Michaels had to say,

The record label was supposed have to this huge humongous release of ‘Every Rose.’ It was going to be Miley’s next-step song, but because of that [the affair rumors], they stepped back. It really bummed me out. I worked hard on that.

Now the long awaited Miley Cyrus – Bret Michaels remake of Every Rose Has Its Thornis scheduled for summer release.

Bret adds,

"I think this is the song that will cross her over. If it happens, it's going to be a big hit."

To Be Released in Conjunction with Miley's Gypsy Heart Tour

Miley Cyrus’s rendition of Every Rose Has Its Thornwas originally scheduled to be released at the end of last year as the second single off her album,"Can't Be Tamed.

Now it’s scheduled for release during the Australian leg of Miley’s international Gypsy Heart tour, which will run from June 21 to July 2, and will include appearances in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. Here’s what Poison’s front man, Bret Michaels, says about Miley’s rendition of Every Rose Has Its Thorn:

“[She] nailed the song. She really knew what she was doing. She got in there and picked the guitar up. It was one of those nights that just worked. It was fun. It’s gotta be her taking ‘Every Rose’ and making it all hers.”

The single will be slightly remixed to have a "more dramatic feel " but will air only on Australian radio stations.

The Miley Cyrus – Bret Michaels duet of Every Rose Has Its Thorn will not be released in the United States.

But at least now that Billy Ray Cyrus’s divorce has been called off, and the infidelity rumors put to rest, the release of Miley’s duet with Bret can proceed.
