Miley Cyrus blames no ring on repair, as Liam Hemsworth settles into new pad (Video)

Miley Cyrus continues to deny there’s anything wrong with her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, with a new report that she made a comment on Twitter explaining why she’s not been wearing her engagement ring. Miley posted a comment that seemed to indicate her excuse for being ringless lately is that she had to have it repaired, according to the Daily News today. Meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth continues to settle into his new “bachelor pad” in Australia. He’s been spotted out purchasing household necessities such as cleaning supplies and food.

Each new day brings fresh rumors as to the status of 20 year-old Miley and 23 year-old Liam’s relationship. Although she supposedly took a break from social media, presumably so she wouldn’t have to respond to the breakup rumors, Miley made a telling comment on Twitter just yesterday.

One Miley’s back up singers, Lindsey J. Lee, tweeted Thursday, “had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed…one of the little diamonds fell out…feel naked without it, so sad”!

Cyrus immediately posted a response saying, “ugh that’s the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off”. Sounds a bit like a set up, but who knows.

However Cyrus wants to spin it, Liam doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to return to the states. The “Hunger Games” actor is said to be comfy down under in his new “bachelor pad”, bought and paid for a few months ago by his parents.

A source told E! News that Hemsworth's parents purchased the three-bedroom, two-bathroom property, surrounded by sand dunes with a beautiful view of the ocean, for a cool $1.6 million.

According to the source, the pad is where Liam has been staying as he continues his “break” from Miley Cyrus. During this past week, he was spotted buying items for his new home, including household cleaning items and food and beverages.

Liam has been keeping a low-profile during his time back home in his native Australia, chilling out with his close-knit family.

“He's not been seen with any girls other than his mother," the insider said. “He has just spent the last few days with family and close friends at his house on Phillip Island”.
