Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split according to sources, but according to Miley, she and Liam are still together. Despite the fact that she's been seen out with another guy (he is just a friend)... and out without her engagement ring, Miley recently tweeted that she has not called off her wedding. But on March 8, PEOPLE Magazine dropped another bombshell that suggests Miley might be fibbing.
According to the mag, Liam has left... the country. Why? Sources say that he needed to take a break from Miley. "Miley is still upset with Liam. She took the ring off to make him mad. It doesn't mean that they have split. Miley says they are still together," a source revealed.
But what are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fighting about? Well that doesn't seem to be clear. Some say that Miley and Liam started having issues after he allegedly had a fling with actress January Jones. Some sources say that Miley and Liam "butt heads" because of their similar strong personalities. Perhaps that means that they are both stubborn or that they aren't willing to participate in that push and pull that a relationship needs.
Regardless, Miley and Liam are not ready to announce their split just yet because they haven't exactly split. Liam flew home to Australia on March 1 to give Miley some space and to clear his head. If the two can't work things out when Liam gets back, they may officially break off their engagement.
