The Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split is being boiled down the three problem areas in their relationship today, according to Hollywood Life. Miley’s partying, over sharing on social media and game playing are being blamed for the couple’s breakup. Miley, 20, has been spotted in public without her engagement ring lately, while 23 year-old Liam jetted off to his homeland of Australia to be with his family.
Miley’s partying ways are said to be one root cause for the couple’s estrangement. She’s been the subject of both marijuana and salvia scandals in the past, and still shares incriminating photos of herself via Instagram.
Some say either the “Hunger Games” actor thought he could keep up with Miley’s partying, or he thought he could change her ways. But in any case, whichever it is it didn’t work.
The next big issue between the two is the fact that Liam is said to be a laid back Aussie, who is not okay with Cyrus’ tendency to “over share” personal details online. Miley is a social media butterfly, and that’s just not Hemsworth’s style.
Finally, the two are allegedly both guilty of playing games with each other. “They love to push each other’s buttons”, an insider told Us Weekly of the pair. Miley’s venturing out sans ring, being sure to be photographed, is being cited as one of the ways she likes to provoke Liam.
Neither party has made any official statements regarding their breakup, with Miley Cyrus continuing to deny it even happened. Her last Twitter message indicated the only reason she’s been not wearing her engagement ring was because it needed a repair by a jeweler.
Of course the couple has been down this road before, having split up twice in 2010. So it remains to be seen if they can patch things up again, but for now, it’s not likely with the two of them on separate continents.
