Miley Cyrus’ split from Liam Hemsworth has been blamed on her love of partying. According to a March 13 report by the New York Post, a source has revealed that Miley and Liam are “done.”
There’s been a lot of speculation about why the young couple has been experiencing relationship problems recently -- Miley’s wild new hair style has been blamed, as have reports that Liam cheated on her with “Mad Men” actress January Jones. However, a source said of their decision to split, “Miley and Liam are done; it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him.”
So why has Miley been denying that their wedding has been called off?
Last week she tweeted this about rumors that she and Liam are no longer engaged: “I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn’t call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining.” Notice that she only claimed that she didn’t call off her wedding -- if Liam is responsible for ending their engagement, this could be her sneaky way of avoiding having to lie about their split. But why won’t Miley Cyrus just admit that she and Liam Hemsworth have decided to go their separate ways so she can move on with her life and end the endless speculation about her love life? Since Liam is currently hanging out in Australia while she’s in L.A., it seems pretty obvious that there’s been a little trouble in paradise.
Perhaps Miley is just in denial. She and Liam have done the whole break up and make up thing before, so it’s possible that she really believes that she and Liam are going to work things out again. Obviously she doesn’t want the press to know about her personal problems, so she’s probably desperately trying to convince Liam to come back to her so they can just pretend like everything’s been fine this whole time.
However, maybe it’s time to end this rocky romance. If Miley wants to party like a single lady, then she’s got to let Liam go so she quits hurting him with her wild ways. And if Liam is starting to develop a wandering eye as the January Jones rumor indicates, then maybe he’s also not ready to settle down.
