Miley Cyrus has reportedly broken up with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
The news of the split came Wednesday and was confirmed by a representative for Hemsworth. The publicity team for Cyrus offered "no comment" on the break up.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met while co-starring in the feature film 'The Last Song'--Cyrus' first leading role in a film outside the Hannah Montana franchise.
In March 2010, Miley Cyrus said of Liam: "[He] has become my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him. He really respects me for who I am because coming from Australia, he really didn’t know me as the celebrity I am here. I got to tell him about myself on my own terms and my own way. He had no preconceived notion of who I was supposed to be."
Cyrus is currently in the process of filming 'LOL: Laughing Out Loud' which co-stars Demi Moore and 'Twilight' actress Ashley Greene. Hemsworth is set to start filming 'Arabian Nights' with Anthony Hopkins soon.
