Milestone day for Diana Ross: Motown great turns 70

Detroit born, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Diana Ross has another hit today, call it a milestone, her 70th birthday.

The founding member of The Supremes has carved quite a career for herself. Her early solo hits include "Reach Out and Touch(Somebody's Hand)" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."

Ross also has starred in films such as "Lady Sings The Blues," "The Wiz" and "Mahogany." She is known for singing on the number one single "We Are The World."

In addition to being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Supremes, Ross received a Kennedy Center Honor in 2007.
