Milder weather ahead for northeast Ohio (Video)

High pressure will build across the Ohio Valley today. While low clouds will hold tough this morning, drier air should win out and skies will become partly sunny this afternoon. High temperatures this afternoon will reach the low 30s.

Tonight, skies will become mostly clear. Overnight lows will fall to the mid teens.

High pressure will remain in control of the weather across northeastern Ohio on Saturday. With partly to mostly sunny skies expected, highs will reach the low to mid 30s.

A clipper-type storm system will dive southeastward through the Great Lakes late Saturday, and across northeastern Ohio on Sunday. Clouds will increase Saturday evening with snow showers developing overnight. Lows will fall to the 20s.

Snow showers are likely on Sunday and some minor accumulations are possible. Highs will reach the mid 30s.

The snow showers will end Sunday night and another area of high pressure will build across the region early next week, bringing a return to dry weather. Highs will be in the mid 30s on both Monday and Tuesday of next week.
