A Milan, MI, witness woke to a pet dog whining and the bed shaking at 4:30 a.m., December 8, 2011, and then noticed outside the bedroom window that lights were "swirling" around a disc-shape object hovering under 15 feet off of the ground, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
"I thought we were having an earthquake," the witness stated. "It must have just been my bed shaking. The walls are not cracked."
The witness then describes what was seen through the bedroom window.
"My blinds were lifted so I could see outside as I was laying on my side. I saw a circle with lights, swirling (it was so fast). The outside was glowing like it was on fire (was disc-shaped and appeared flat). I thought it was something that was going to crash. This object was not far off the ground; I want to say about 10-15 feet."
The witness then called 911, but had trouble with the telephone.
"My 911 call did not register (on phone calls made) and there was static on the line for a brief period. I had asked the dispatch officer if they could hear me. They said yes, so I thought it was on my end. I just noticed on my cell phone when checking to see exact time I called the police and noticed the call back from the officer was registered on my phone (not the 911 call)."
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on December 8, 2011. Milan is a city in Monroe and Washtenaw counties, population 4,775. The above quotes were edited for clarity.

My dog awoke me at approx. 4:30 a.m. was wining. About 1 minute after awaking to my dog, my bed (only thing that I noticed) was shaking -- quite a bit. I know this sounds crazy! I thought we were having an earthquake. It must have just been my bed shaking. The walls are not cracked.
