The FW 2010 Jil Sander show at Milan fashion week showed the house's signature relaxed, yet streamlined silhouettes, all done with texture. Mid-size square prints were met with solid shades of grey and black. Tweed suiting with short, boxy skirts and mens-inspired jackets created a new look for the Jil Sander woman. The working woman can wear this suit easily to work, and break it up for playtime.
Raf Simmons continues to impress with wearable, functional pieces that play with proportion, yet in a way where the modern woman will still feel comfortable wearing his garments to a mainstream event.
