The four-star Komali Contemporary Mexican Cuisine hosted a Milagro Tequila mixology class and tasting event.
To get participants ready for the experience, Dallas’ most-beloved mixologist, Leann Berry, created “Hot Wishes” (Milagro Blanco, fresh mango juice infused with jalapenos and habaneros, Cointreau and fresh lime juice) – the best blend of hot and sweet in a cocktail.
Juan Pablo De Loera, brand ambassador for Milagro Tequila, taught the class.
Participants were able to taste the full core and the select barrel lines of Milagro tequila, do hands-on mixing of their own cocktails, ask questions and enjoy chef-crafted light bites from Chef Anastacia Quinones. (Check out the slideshow, the cocktails and the bites are visual candy.)
As participants muddled blackberries, pineapples and cucumbers, in the distance, mariachis played music.
“We are looking forward to hosting more tastings and mixology classes in the future,” Chef/Owner Abraham Salum said as he view guests laughing and sharing their favorite concoctions.
Chemistry class was never this much fun.
