Mila Kunis Is Set to go to Oz

With director Sam Raimi's (the Spiderman trilogy) Oz, the Great and Powerful set to start shooting this summer, it looks like his cast is starting to come together. It has now been confirmed Albany, that actress Mila Kunis (Black Swan, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) has officially signed on to join the cast.

She'll be joining actor James Franco (Pineapple Express, Your Highness, 127 Hours), who'll be starring as a "charming con man and illusionist who attempts to escape from a travelling circus when his latest romanctic pass gets him into a bit of trouble". When he's attempting to escape however, a tornado takes him away to the land of Oz, finding that not only is magic real but his actions can be more harmful than he ever imagined.

Kunis will portray Theodora, who along with her sister Glinda, starts out as a good witch. After being turned down by the soon-to be wizard however, Theodora turns evil joiningg witch Evanora to take over the land.

Fresh off of her impressive performance alongside Natalie Portman in Black Swan, Mila Kunis is certainly keeping busy with the amount of roles she's compiling. This summer she'll be seen alongside Justin Timberlake in Friends with Benefits, she's currently filming Ted, where she'll be playing Mark Wahlberg's love interest and now she's set to take a trip to Oz in the prequel to the classic film, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Showing she can be both sexy (duh) and aggressive in Black Swan, playing the role of an evil witch shouldn't be too much of a stretch for the talented actress. Look for further updates on this film very soon.
