According to a press release, “"Top of the World" touches upon the universality of the soul, crossing the boundaries of faith, religion, race, and ethnicity. Pauker's new music video displays the intense magnetism between the souls of the living, uniting those who tap into it.”
“Regardless of what type of faith we follow, our souls yearn to be together," Pauker said in the Zimbio article.
The video does a beautiful job of making this transcendence clear. Centering on a multi-ethnic/multi-religious cast, the video shows people coming together as brothers and sisters, hugging and bonding. One of the more memorable scenes focuses on the cast coming together to raise a chuppah (a prayer shawl [tallit] held over a couple’s heads during their wedding) to unite a bride and groom.
“Top Of The World” is from Pauker’s new full length, ‘Extraordinary Love,’ which was released on October 1 on Shemspeed Records. Pauker released a video for the album’s bonus track, “Hinei Mah Tov (Eeoohh),” in February.
