So many DJ's out there are trying to make a name for themselves yet the problem in doing so is that they don't have the proper people behind them helping them out along the way. Especially on the branding side. Mikey Lev is here to prove the latter part of that opening sentence wrong with his development of his DJ & Management company "Audible Artists".
Mikey Lev the owner of Audible Artists has created a amazing new system of branding a DJ, creating their own identity, etc. Spider, Devin Lucien and Rashida (all Audible Artists) have changed the face of being a DJ. Mikey has created a company that not only helps book DJ's around the world, but brands them in a way that separates them from the norm.
Each DJ is someone you should get to know. In a world of DJ's where several of them just hit the play button on their MAC computers, they don't ever seem to have the persona or capabilities to back up what they are doing. That is not the case for Spider, Devin or Rashida. Check out what they are about.
DJ Spider- Spider is a classic example of not limiting yourself to one certain genre. His main passion is hip-hop but has expanded his horizons by playing to whatever each crowd is destined to want to listen to. It could be funk, it could even be disco. Bottom line is that Spider gets it done. He has even done work on the big screen by licensing songs to the Oscar winning "Crash" and MTV staple "The Real World". Check out his bio here.
Devin Lucien- You can kind of put Pitbull & Chris Brown's song "International Love" in reference to Devin as he is an international DJ even though he mainly resides in LA. He is a regular in other major cities like Miami and New York and has even DJ'd as far as Tokyo. He has also worked with major corporate sponsors and been featured in several high profile magazines such as Vanity Fair. Check out his awesome NYC Fashion week mix on his site and more.
DJ Rashida- Rashida is as colorful on the ones and two's as she is with her clothing and ever increasing popularity. Already a staple on the first three seasons as the go-to DJ on MTV's uber popular "America's Best Dance Crew", Rashida has traveled the world, blending her signature mixture of hip-hop, funk, soul and many others. She has opened for the likes of Kanye West, and has even collaborated with none other than Prince himself. BOOM. Take a look at this talented girls work which proves that the DJ thing isn't a boy's room only sitch.
