He's known locally for his generosity, and internationally for his battle with personal demons.
But former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was at his usual best last Friday night when he took center stage at Cabo Wabo Cantina to host the Tecate Pre-Fight Bradley vs. Marquez Party.
Tyson, sporting a long sleeve black v-neck with dark blue jeans, didn't flinch from the wild party atmosphere. The longtime local resident was accompanied by two Tecate models, posing playfully with the girls as hundreds of fans patiently waited in line to take a photo with the Hall of Famer. Considering he recently said he was "on the verge of dying," the big man looked fit and sober.
True to his generous nature, the boxing legend playfully posed with each and every fan.
His new show "Being Mike Tyson" debuted on Fox Sept. 22. Tyson is proud of it, regularly tweeting about his guests, which most recently included boxing legend and Tyson's personal inspiration Muhammad Ali.
"Growing up I wanted people worship me like I worshipped the great fighters. That is what inspired me," Tyson tweeted yesterday.
Also at Cabo Wabo that night, former boxer Marco Antonio “Baby-Faced Assassin” Barrera, who stepped in the ring with Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas six years ago.
