Mike Tyson isn’t shy when it comes to talking about the biting event that happened 15 years ago when he took a bite out of Evander Holyfield’s ear. While time has healed the wound between the two, on Tuesday fans are discovering what Tyson really feels about the incident. The boxer shared a funny thought about the incident on Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live. Asked to describe the taste of an ear, the boxer gave a funny perspective that couldn’t be ignored.
“It depends on which ear you bite. But since I bit Holyfield’s ear -- and it didn’t have any of that Holyfield Hot Sauce on it -- it wasn’t too tasty,” said Mike Tyson to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens: Live.
Of course the two fighters have patched up their incident over the years and now have a hot sauce promoting the insane moment in the ring. After the interview Evander Holyfield even shared a moment with his fans online describing just how good his new hot sauce tastes.
“My real deal bbq sauce will make u wanna take a bite out of someone's ear! Ask @MikeTyson - Luv ya bro!” tweeted Evander Holyfield from his official Twitter account.
The ear biting moment in boxing will never be forgotten as Mike Tyson was disqualified and the idea of someone chewing on an ear made everyone’s stomach a little sour. Yet in the end the boxers are good friends and celebrating the moment in time.
