Ecorazzi reported on Dec. 10, 2013 that the former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson believes that eating red meat made him crazy. Mike Tyson went vegetarian then decided to go vegan in an effort to clean up his diet and regain his health.

It seemed to work well. He dropped an amazing 100 pounds. He was feeling better. He said many of his health ailments completely disappeared. He told Fox 411, he should be vegan still, but is no longer a practicing vegan.

When asked if he eats red meat now, he replied with a “no way”. He claims that red meat makes him sick and thinks that is why he was so ‘crazy before. His wife watched the popular documentary “Fork Over Knives” and vowed to change her diet. So, he did as well. One has to wonder, with so many health benefits from a simple ditching all animal proteins, why did he stop?

I was a vegan for four years but not anymore. I eat chicken every now and then. I should be a vegan
