Just when you thought watching Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on MTV’s controversial reality show, “Jersey Shore” was enough, now you are not only going to hear more about Sorrentino, but watch the Staten Island-born strut his stuff wearing glittery and silky costumes on WABC’s hit show, “Dancing with the Stars.”
It was confirmed Monday, Sorrentino will join “Baywatch” fame, David Hasselhoff, “Brady Bunch” mom, Florence Henderson, Super Bowl champ and former quarterback, Kurt Warner, former NBA star, Rick Fox, former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin, and a whole bunch of other recognizable personalities, dance on the new and upcoming season of WABC’s biggest reality show.
Michael Sorrentino, known for his nickname, “The Situation,” began to get noticed on MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” which debuted in 2009; and Sorrentino has been a guest on many notable talk shows, and was even parodied on Saturday Night Live. The 27 year-old was also an exotic dancer a couple of years ago, and is familiar for his typical “Guido” attitude, gelled-up hair and "fake n' bake" tanned muscular body.
Production on “Dancing with the Stars,” has begun, and it was reported that Sorrentino will miss a rehearsal on the dance show because of his current duties on “Jersey Shore.” DWTS is filmed in Hollywood, and “Jersey Shore,” is filmed in New Jersey.
If you care to watch “The Situation,” you can catch him on current episodes of the “Jersey Shore” on MTV, and on “Dancing with the Stars,” which premieres Monday, September 20th on WABC-TV.
Do you think Mike Sorrentino can handle the “situation” working bi-coastal? Your comments are welcomed.
