Mike Ditka, 73, claims one of his biggest regrets in life to date is not running against Obama or the 2004 Illinois Senate race according to Sunday, October 13 reports from Yahoo News.
The former Chicago bears football coach is really unhappy with the state of the country and claims that his 'biggest mistake" to day is not challenging Barrack Obama in the 2004 Illinois Senate race.
“Not that I would have won, but I probably would have and he wouldn’t be in the White House,” the NFL Hall of Famer told the Dickinson Press at an oil company event in Watford City, N.D.
Mike Ditka is best known as one of only two men to have won NFL championships as player, assistant coach, and coach. He is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and has made a fortune through the game and as a pitchman and TV analyst.
One turn of events would have changed everything. So,what state would the country be in today, if things had of been different back in 2004, better or worse?
