Since Carl's break up with Christina early in the season, Carl, played my Reno Wilson is having a tough time being alone. According to Seattle Pi on Feb. 11 he has a new pick up spot to find women, the laundromat.
In this season alone, Carl has tried picking up women at church, sleeping with whomever he finds in a bar, and living in his grandma's home just to have someone to keep him company, fed him, and ensure that his laundry is getting done. Now that Carl and Samuel are sharing an apartment, Carl is feeling lonely again since Samuel has a girlfriend.
According to Carl, the laundromat is a great place to pick up someone because a single man can walk in and talk to women simply by asking to barrow a cup of detergent. It sounds a little creepy, because it is, but it definitely isn't the worst traveled road that Carl has traveled this season. Hopefully, he will find what he is looking for at the laundromat before he begins seeking companionship in more dangerous places.
