The video, displayed in black and white, shows Miguel as he walks the streets of Los Angeles, draped in a leather jacket and wearing shades, as he searches the city for his love interest whom he ultimately meets up with at the beach.

The lyrics describe just how practical and simple finding love and being love can be. "She said I just want someone true. I just want someone to smoke with me babe. And lay with me babe. Laugh with me. I just want the simple things." The essence of these lyrics are captured in the video where Miguel and his love interest share a quiet intimate moment on the beach just enjoying each other.
