I like the Manny-Cotto match up, more exciting than with Mosley. Mosley killed the excitement by over drumming on his eagerness to fight Manny and it appears like he needs this fight, a big pay check fight to end his career.

these people easily forget the past, they sing the same song before the fight, in ODLH versus Manny they said it will be a great fight, then what happened, Manny easily outboxed ODHL to win TKO on 8, then comes Hatton, again they said it is a great fight since Hatton is the bigger guy and it is in his weight class, but again manny KO him in the 2nd rd,now comes Cotto, hope these respondents saw the previous fights of these two protagonist and if you saw it dont be hypocrite, who has more speed and power between Manny and Cotto, you can easily predict who will prevail on Nov 14 or Oct 17.

The fight is more likely be on and that's Cotto against the Pacman. At 145 catch weight I don't think Pacman has the edge since he is the one going up. The best weight for Manny is at 140lbs.but the money fight is in welterweight that's why Cotto is on, of course he is a lot bigger than Pacquiao and that's the reason they have to fight at 145lbs. just to even up a little bet. One good thing about this is the fact that both guys wants to fight and this is boxing is all about. Cotto says he is not impressed with Mannys performance funny, I wonder if boxing fans is happy about Cottos performance against Clotty. For those who've seen the fight knows the answer. I just hope Cotto could get past the fifth round this time.

Against the light handed clotty he only got a UD and yet Cotto was lucky to have the judges on his side. If not for the first round knock down Clotty could have won it easily. Against the heavy handed Pacman 8 rounds would be too long unless Pacquiao's strategy is to drag the fight to the later rounds depending on Roach instructions. Cotto is much easier to hit than pbf or mosely if Manny wants to finish it early I think he can.

guys let be honest we thinking pacman is all that because he won his last two fights. de la hoya was old weak and he lost 5 times already. ricky hatton, all his fights in the UK and everytime he comes to United states he loose. cotto is too big for him. lets think about this, marques a slow counter puncher dominate both fights with pacman. now imagine what cotto can do with a better boxing than marquez and with biger size. pacman has no chance 8 round KO

i hope pacman can fight cotto, maywether, mosley and marquez in that order before retiring from boxing. then unretire and fight once a year up to age 35. it's hard to see the cotto fight as the last one for pacman. i like bob arums description - the fighting congressman from the philippines.
