Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter project is close to its Xbox One/PS4 goal of $3.3 million. Donations will close tomorrow at 5:19 PM PST.
As a special treat, Mighty No. 9 will feature Mega Man 2 composer Takashi Tateishi to add the score to the game. If you want all-new music from Keiji Inafune's new game, you'll have to pledge $40 (which includes a digital retro-style manual and the digital version of the game itself).
As of now, the current gen consoles, the Wii U, PC, Linux, and Mac will get their versions. The 3DS and PS Vita will only be funded if the donations reach at $3.5 million. There is not a lot of time left, but given the current pace of the cash flow, it is entirely possible.
One has to wonder if Capcom is regretting letting Mr. Inafune go to let him pursue his new project. Given his credentials and his fame, it won't be surprising if his former employer is nervous.
