The Miami International Film Festival is off to a great start to celebrate their 30th year. There have already been some fantastic movie premieres and parties. MIFF XXX is just getting warmed up. One movie that should not be missed is “El Paseo 2” (The Trip 2) which is having its International Premiere on Monday night, March 4 at the Regal South Beach cinemas at 7:00 PM. The movie stars John Leguizamo who will be on hand for the screening and has been around the festival throughout the weekend.
I was able to sit down with John Leguizamo to talk to him about the film and why he decided to take on the responsibility of a leading role. He usually is known for taking on supporting roles, which has always been fine with him. We also talked about his past movies like “Land of the Dead” and “Spawn” and some of his upcoming movies like the Ridley Scott directed “The Counselor” and also this summer’s highly anticipated, “Kick Ass 2”.
