Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano start juicy Twitter feud

According to a March 14 report from the New York Post, the winner of the Miesha Tate vs Cat Zingano bout will likely fight UFC champ Ronda Rousey.

As it that news isn't enough to build up the excitement for the clash, Tate and Zingano have been hyping up their Apr. 13 UFC fight by engaging in a back-and-forth war of words via Twitter.

"MieshaTate is just a twig on the road that will be ran over eventually," Zingano wrote on March 14 on her official Twitter page. "8-0!!"

Tate immediately shot back, essentially calling Zingano a newcomer due to her lack of experience against top five contenders.

"Rookie mistake," Tate shot back at Zingano.

The action got more intense from there, as Zingano simultaneously took a swipe at both Tate and Rousey.

"Kani Basami! I have skills from any&everywhere that I know both @mieshatate @RondaRousey cant handle," Zingano wrote.

Tate fired back once more, as she wrote "@CatZingano careful sweetheart, your swimming with the big fish now."

Tate and Zingano are set to duke it out on Apr. 13 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Just last month, Tate and Zingano were quite friendly to each other, as they did a side-by-side interview with MMA Fighting reporter Ariel Helwani.

However, things can change in a hurry in the MMA world, and no fight was ever hurt by a little Twitter "beef" to hype it up.
