The Midwest Independent Film Festival opens its tenth anniversary season on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the Landmark Century Centre Cinema, beginning at 6 pm.

The feature film to be screened is the award-winning comedy and debut feature from Chicago filmmaker Billy Federighi, entitled Adventures in the Sin Bin.

A winner of the Seattle International Film Festival FutureWave Award, Adventures in the Sin Bin follows a virgin who habitually loans out his van to friends for their sexual encounters.

Starring Bo Burnham, Michael Seater, Emily Meade, Gillian Jacobs, Tim Blake Nelson, and Jeff Garlin, this film was also an Official Selection at the Hamptons International Film Festival.

The evening begins with a pre-show cocktail reception at the Landmark Century Centre Cinema at 6 pm, followed by a Producers Panel in the theater at 6:30 pm. Adventures in the Sin Bin will screen at 7:30 pm, and a post-screeing reception will be held immediately afterward, with director Billy Federighi in attendance.

The Midwest Independent Film Festival spotlights Midwest filmmakers, with regionally-produced independent cinema every first Tuesday of the month at Landmark Century Centre Cinema, 2828 North Clark St., Chicago.
