Spring and summer in the garden is always busy and bursting with color. Many people don't realize that some of these same hues can continue through out the year. The garden never has to look dull.

Alrie Middlebrook, owner of Middlebrook Gardens Native Plant Nursery knows this and she is eager to share her knowledge with you.  Her nursery will reopen today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and she will be onsite to advise and answer questions.

She will be giving a free lecture "Twelve months of Color in the Native garden" at 11 a.m. for those who missed it a few months ago.

She'll discuss the beauty of sustainable native plants and how they can provide color and diversity to your garden year-round.

You're free to browse around, take a look at the plants which are organized by plant community, check into the September classes and get ideas of your own on what to plant this fall so that every month in the garden is lovely.
