Players won’t just have to rely on their mortal weapons to fight the forces of Sauron in next month’s Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Taking on the role of Talon, a murdered man who has returned after being bound to a wraith, gamers will also have plenty of unnatural powers to help them conquer their enemies and exact their revenge. Discussing many of Talon’s abilities in a post from Aug. 22, the official Playstation Blog detailed what fans will be capable off based on a recent hands-on demo of the game.

The central key to Talon’s powers stems from his ability to dominate his will over the forces of Mordor. By grabbing enemies, players will be able to exert their influence over weakened foes. Gamers will have several options in how to dominate their enemies depending on the situation and what they want accomplished. For example, Talon can use his powers to interrogate his victims in order to learn about troop movements and plans or he can even force the armies of orcs to turn against their captains. This allows players to incite their own orcish civil wars throughout Mordor.

The recent demo also revealed that players will also be able to utilize their new wraith-based powers in order to help them traverse the battle field. Talon can also use his domination to take control over the deadly beasts of Mordor that can then be used as mounts. Additionally, gamers will also be able to fire a ghostly arror that will teleport them to the location that the missile lands.

These are but a few of the abilities that fans will be able to enjoy when Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor releases on Sept. 30. The game will launch on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC.
