Update 7/28/14: Rescued!!

On June 19, an older Poodle mix was left at the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facility in Baldwin Park, Calif.

The dog, named "Bola," has now been at the animal control facility for over a month...though she is not a large dog, nor a dog who is considered a "power breed," nobody has decided to step forward and take a chance on her.

A shelter volunteer posted the following comment, along with Bola's photo, back in June:

My name is Bola. I am a very friendly 8 yr old spayed female white Min Poodle mix. My owner left me here on June 19. available now!

Unfortunately for Bola, the large, high-intake facility does not provide any information about the personality of the dogs who are in their care. What Bola needs is increased visibility...hopefully if her information is networked, someone who is reached will see something which inspires them to take a chance and offer her a home.
