Midday showers and storms then a chance of strong storms

Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Dryer cooler air has won out this morning. However just to our South and West is a warm front that will lift North and stall across the region this afternoon, bringing a return to warmer and a bit more humid air North. This will allow a complex of storms to travel across the region this morning. Another chance of strong super-cell thunderstorms may form this afternoon due to a strong wind sheared environment. However with the best instability to our South along the River the strongest storms may stay just South of the region. None the less there is still the possibility of heavy flooding rains, strong winds, and large hail with any thunderstorms that can organize. An isolated tornado risk may occur if discrete super-cell thunderstorms can form this afternoon. This will all be dependent on how much sun can break out behind morning storms.

Long range:
Cool air rushes in behind Wednesday's system bringing pleasant sunny weather through the early part of the weekend. Another system brings more scattered showers and storms Sunday and Sunday night before more cool air returns.
