Mid Atlantic Nor'Easter to start the weekend?

See also

So far, we have managed to get through this winter, here in MD, with out any big snow storms. Most of the storms have produced an inch or less of accumulation...this might change as we move into the weekend! A Nor’Easter type storm is scheduled to develop along the Mid Atlantic coast on Friday. There is still no computer model consensus on this solution, but the famous European Model has been forecasting this event for several days. As it passes through Maryland, we might get a brief period of Freezing Rain or Sleet early Friday Morning...but it should change over to Rain during the day. As the storm gets deeper off the NJ coast, it will start to pull some colder air back into the Baltimore area. That means the precip will likely change to snow before it ends late Friday Night. The folks in the NE will be the big winners with this storm...there could be up to a foot of snow in some places, with Blizzard conditions! Stay tuned....
